Matt Galeano of the Metro Moose has been named as CHA Player of the Week

Matt has led his team with 10 points in the last 5 games including a 3 goal, 2 assist performance this past weekend at the League Showcase in New Hampshire where the Moose went 2-1. His production this season has helped propel his team to an 8-1 record and first place in the Western Conference.

According to Moose Assistant Coach Bob Dirico: "Matt is a leader on and off the ice. The 14 first year players look up to him for guidance and leadership" "His production and leadership is counted on helping the Moose make it back to the Nationals this season."

Matt carries a full course load in his second year of college as he maintains a 3.5 GPA while majoring in Accounting.
